News from TEA (3/4/19):

EMAT Dates

EMAT will close at noon CDT on April 1, 2019. School districts and open-enrollment charter schools should place orders for instructional materials needed for the 2018−19 school year before April 1, 2019. EMAT will reopen for ordering materials for the 2019−20 school year on May 1, 2019.

STRC Dates

The Special Textbook Redistribution Center (STRC) will accept surplus braille and large-print instructional materials through March 29, 2019. The STRC will be closed March 11, 2019, through March 15, 2019, for spring break.

Instructions for shipping surplus braille and large-print instructional materials, including out-of-adoption materials, to the STRC are available on the TEA website.
