How to Use IMTA Funds for Registration Fees

Did you know that you can use your IMTA funds to cover your conference registration fees for IMCAT's annual conference I.M. Texas and IMCAT's virtual Summer Institute?

Only IMCAT event registration is specifically allowed by TEA to be paid for with IMTA funds. The registration fees are reimbursable through an EMAT system Disbursement Request for "Professional Development." Note that travel expenses are not covered.

Follow these simple steps to submit a request:

1. Log in to EMAT.
2. Click on Allotment Disbursement.
3. Click Next to create.
4. Transaction: Select Technology Services.
5. Category: Select Professional Development.
6. Vendor: List "IMCAT."
7. Service Description: Enter the specific conference and year (e.g., "IMCAT Annual Conference 2024").
8. Service Audience: List "Administrator."
9. Enter quantity and unit price.
10. Once the request is approved, create a PO using the 410 account.
