I.M. Texas, the premier instructional materials event in Texas, is the annual conference of the Instructional Materials Coordinators' Association of Texas and includes essential information for instructional materials coordinators, curriculum staff, technology specialists, business office personnel, and warehouse managers.

I.M. Texas will provide best practices on topics associated with instructional materials, such as warehousing, purchasing, budgeting, and more. Additonally, the Texas Education Agency will provide an overview and training on the new EMAT ordering system, legislative updates, and the most current information pertaining to State Board of Education decisions related to HB 1605 and the new entitlements, which are opportunities for districts to receive additional money beginning spring 2025.

2024 IMCAT Registration Fee: $395 by November 1; $445 after

  1. How can I use my IMTA funds to cover my registration fees for I.M. Texas 2024? The registration fees are reimbursable through the EMAT system as "Professional Development." Learn more here.
  2. How do I know if I am registered? You will receive a confirmation email when you are registered. The email will serve as your receipt or invoice if you have a balance due.
  3. I’m paying by check or purchase order. Where do I send my check? Please send your check to the IMCAT offices at 3305 Steck Ave., Ste. 200, Austin, TX 78757.
  4. When are payments due? The deadline for receiving payment is November 25, 2024.
  5. What is the cancellation deadline? Refunds (less $50 processing fee) are available until November 25, 2024. No refunds will be available after that date. Please submit your cancellation request to [email protected].
  6. How can I record continuing education credit at the conference? IMCAT will provide a fillable professional development form closer to the conference.
  7. Will sessions be recorded for on-demand viewing? No. I.M. Texas is an in-person event.
  8. What is the hotel booking deadline? The deadline for booking a hotel room at the discounted conference rate is November 16, 2024.
